BIAF 2026: Michelangelo at Palazzo Corsini
An art visit to consider during your late-September stay in Florence.
From 26 September to 4 October 2026, Florence’s International Antiques Biennale opens to the public at Palazzo Corsini. The programme announces a Michelangelo drawing for the unbuilt façade of San Lorenzo, on loan from Casa Buonarroti, in the Throne Room.
Public opening hours are 10:30am–7:30pm daily; the ticket office closes at 7pm. Standard admission is €25. Use the official opening-hours and tickets page to buy your ticket and check for any updates.
We suggest choosing this visit when you can give the art your attention and allow time for the works that catch your eye. Avoid fitting it between closely spaced appointments: a personal selection can be more rewarding than trying to see everything in a hurry.
Before leaving, check the day’s programme again. If a particular work interests you, prepare questions about technique and provenance; if you are considering a purchase, request documentation and written terms. Take only what you need and consult the admission rules before your visit.
